My new book Pride and Prejudice didn't work out well, so I think the next book that I'm going to read is I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. The book contains 289 pages, and it is written in first person. It would take me less than three weeks to finish this book.

Maya Angelou is the author of many best-selling books besides I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. She also wrote five collections of poetry. In the sixties, Maya Angelou became the Northern Coordinator for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, by the request of Martin Luther King Jr. Also, in 1977, she received the Ladies' Home Journal Woman of the Year Award in Communications.
